Congratulations to the scores of troops who worked tirelessly to ensure the visit by the German Defense Minister was an overwhelming success. Thomas de Maizière was able to visit the Regional Media and Information Center in Mazar-e Sharif, the 209th Corps on Camp Shaheen as well as troops aboard Camp Marmal thanks to the expert organization and diligent cooperation of the coalition troops supporting the visit. Thanks also to the German media for covering the event to ensure the German people are aware of the tremendous sacrifice their troops are making here in Regional Command North.
