Germany's new Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Afghanistan on a surprise visit a few days before Christmas. This collection of images is for all the outstanding men and women serving aboard Camp Marmal who supported her visit. The successful tour of the base would not have been possible if not for the hard work of countless troops. Job well done!
