Nine ANA soldiers successfully graduated from the emergency Afghan Tactical Air Coordinator Course (eATAC) at Balkh Airfield. The Afghan trainers worked along-side German advisors from TAAC-North. The course provided the infrastructure and the "air force" spirit necessary to get an emotional connection to guiding the aircraft and its pilot to the intended target. There were radio, map and compass training as well as lessons on how to fill out the ATAC forms correctly.
