Here are some photos from recent joint training in Germany between my KSK friend's unit and our Marines. Training was on Close Air Support (CAS), starting with an infiltration and utilizing laser designators from hide sites, then moving to a helo extraction. Marines were happy to be able to temp loan the G36K for the operation. Later, everyone moved to a hillside overlooking a bombing range and took turns calling in US and German aircraft. Both G36K-mounted AGL and HK69 were used for marking with smoke. There are worse ways to spend a day.
